eh_host_reset_handler - reset host (host bus adapter)  

SYNOPSIS

int eh_host_reset_handler (struct scsi_cmnd * scp);  

ARGUMENTS

scp
SCSI host that contains this device should be reset
 

DESCRIPTION

Returns SUCCESS if command aborted else FAILED

struct Scsi_Host::host_lock held (with irqsave) on entry and assumed to be held on return.  

NOTES

Invoked from scsi_eh thread. No other commands will be queued on current host during eh. With the default eh_strategy in place, if none of the _abort_, _device_reset_, _bus_reset_ or this eh handler function are defined (or they all return FAILED) then the device in question will be set offline whenever eh is invoked.
