Hi
There,
The annual technical conference for Linux in Australia is coming to Adelaide in January 2004. It will be held in Australia's third oldest university, The University of Adelaide. The University of Adelaide is situated in the heart of Adelaide and inexpensive, but comfortable, accomodation will be provided near to the University. Organisation for the conference is well underway. Led by Michael Davies and a team of open source enthusiasts, Adelaide hopes to build on the success of all the previous conferences and add its own South Australian touch to the conference experience. We will present a high-quality, technically relevant conference to all Australian and international conference attendees. In addition to this the conference will support a number of smaller, more focussed pre-conferences. At this time, the Debian, Educational and Linux Chix mini-conferences are confirmed to be running. Finally, Adelaide is putting together an interesting social programme for the conference ranging from the main conference dinner to the professional delegates' networking session. The Adelaide conference will feature a partners' programme featuring local tourist activities and interesting metropolitan outings. We look forward to meeting you there!
