Conclusions At this point, we have IPv6 working on our network. It is no more difficult for a department to use IPv6 than it is for IPv4. In fact, for networks that only need a single "/64" network, we can set up the Router Advertisement Daemon on their VLAN. IPv6 stacks in operating systems such as Linux, WinXP, MacOS X are all capable of using this to automatically configure themselves with an IP address.
